Turning my childhood passion for drawing into a career started me on a long and rewarding journey, allowing me to work with some great clients on some fun projects along the way. Whether it was working to make educational materials for kids more exciting and engaging, helping ad agency clients to visualize a TV spot, driving home an editorial point, or making a story come to life in comic book form, each type of illustration presented its own unique set of challenges and rewards. Working in such a broad selection of illustration venues and media has taught me that, ultimately, all illustration is about storytelling.


Over the years I've transitioned from being a full-time graphic designer to having most recently been a staff concept artist with an in-house video game studio, creating everything from rough concepts to finished 2D art. A partial list of my clients includes America's Army, Bennett Kuhn Varner, Captain Action Enterprises, Coca-Cola, Fernbank Natural History Museum, Harcourt, Hermes Press, Highlights for Children, Houghton Mifflin, McGraw-Hill, Moonstone Comics, SAIC, and ZooAtlanta. I'm looking forward to the next leg of my journey in visual storytelling, wherever it takes me.
